Idaho Parents: Empowering Parents Offers Nardagani Tutoring
The Nardagani Reading Program has been approved by Empowering Parents and now offers our tutoring services directly to Idaho families. Qualifying families can select Nardagani for your child’s supplemental reading program—supporting your challenged reader by teaching decoding (sounding out words) quickly and simply. Our fun program will be taught via the Empowering Parents website and with a certified Nardagani Reading Program instructor.
Empowering Parents is a State of Idaho program, which has been funded by federal Coronavirus Relief Funds. This online educational marketplace is designed to support parents and guardians, who continue to face challenges as they try to help their students recover from learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Empowering Parents program provides Idaho students from Kindergarten through grade 12 access to funds, which can be used to purchase educational goods and services, directly controlled by families. Eligible purchases include computers and technology, internet access, instructional materials, tutoring services, and educational services and therapies through approved vendors in the Empowering Parents online marketplace.

Parents or guardians of an Idaho student(s) in grades kindergarten through grade 12, attending a public, private, or is homeschooled, you can apply for these funds.
Eligible Families can:
Receive a credit for $1,000 per child up to $3,000 per family to be used in the Empowering Parents online marketplace.
Once the account is created and eligibility verified, monies are deposited into the awardees account and are available to be spent over a 24 month period.
Eligible purchases include computers and technology, internet access, instructional materials, tutoring services, and educational services and therapies through approved vendors in the Empowering Parents online marketplace.
The Empowering Parents application is now open! Awards will be issued based on each family's Adjusted Gross Income as outlined below:
The first wave of grants will be awarded to eligible families earning $60,000 per year or less.
The second wave of grants will be awarded to eligible families earning $75,000 per year or less.
The third wave of grants (if funding is still available) will be awarded to eligible families earning more than $75,000 per year.
